As a Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability Manager, you will have the incredible opportunity to contribute to our mission and make a difference in the lives of millions of people. In this role, you will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to drive human rights advancements in our supply chain and promote sustainability in the materials used for our products.
Here are some exciting responsibilities and opportunities that await you:
Lead our Responsible Sourcing program, ensuring the audit program is effectively administered and supporting the remediation of high-risk issues.
Collaborate with vendors and factories to improve working conditions and reduce environmental impact in the production of our products.
Oversee our Social Impact Task Force and drive our commitment to using 100% more sustainable raw materials, working closely with our Buying Teams and Vendors.
Develop guidance and processes to meet global regulatory requirements in the retail and apparel industry.
Continuously evolve and implement strategies to advance responsibility and sustainability within our supply chain.
Manage the annual budget and resources for Responsible Sourcing and Sustainability initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and manage potential social and environmental risks in our supply chain.
Collaborate with company leadership on total company ESG efforts.
Represent our company in industry collaboration and membership events focused on sustainability and responsible sourcing.
To excel in this role, we're looking for someone who possesses the following qualities and qualifications:
A college degree in a business-related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in responsible sourcing and sustainability (experience in the apparel industry is preferred).
Strong project management skills and a track record of driving results.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
A positive team player who can also work independently.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment with competing priorities.
High motivation, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow creatively.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
