Job Description

JOB TITLE: Research Manager/Associate Director
SALARY: $110k - $150k
LOCATION: Fairfield, CT

With an approach that incorporates the three tenants of learn, build and verify, they look to solve complex design challenges by seeing them from multiple angles. Most importantly, their core belief is that you cannot understand good design if you do not understand people as design is made for people.

They are currently looking to grow their team and bring on either a Research Manager or Associate Director to lead, plan, co-ordinate and execute multiple research projects and manage the day-to-day research-related tasks.

KEY DUTIES

  • Prepares creative and innovative proposals
  • Leads and takes responsibility for the successful on-time and on-budget delivery of projects that generate top quality results.
  • Designs the project methodology, shape and scope and makes sure this is understood by the team members, setting goals and monitoring performance.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience of sharing knowledge, key learnings and best practice from experiences on the projects that they have been responsible for
  • Previous experience of managing and leading end-to-end qualitative projects
  • Previous experience moderating a range of face-to-face and online sessions, and facilitating both client and consumer workshops
