Remote Project Procurement Specialist - Remote | Wfh

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Project Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a remote employee, you will be supporting our client's construction projects across various locations.
You will be responsible for soliciting pricing from electrical subcontractors and materials for construction projects through electronic sourcing tools. In this role, you will work closely with regional commodity managers, field procurement managers, sales and operations personnel, and subcontractors.
Your main responsibilities will include creating electronic solicitations, monitoring bidder responses, and ensuring compliance with requirements. You will also be responsible for summarizing the results and making recommendations for process improvements to ensure consistency, efficiency, and data analytics accuracy.
As the Project Procurement Specialist, you will identify potential sourcing opportunities and recommend the type of event to be posted, including start/end date, bid increments, and reserve price. You will also be responsible for training suppliers and resolving any technical issues that arise during the event.
To qualify for this role, you must have at least a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of 1 year of purchasing or procurement support experience, and 1 year of customer service/admin support experience in a construction environment. A Bachelor's degree and CPM Certification are preferred but not required.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills who can work both within a team atmosphere and independently in a fast-paced environment. You should also have basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
The pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package. Upon offer of employment, you will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
