Recruiting Coordinator

Our Opportunity

Chewy is on a mission to be the most trusted and convenient destination for pet parents (and partners), everywhere. To fulfill that mission, Chewy is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator who will support the Talent Acquisition needs by leading all aspects of the candidate interview experience. In this role, you will coordinate and execute seamless and efficient processes, predominately related to the coordination of the interview cycle from beginning to end to ensure a positive experience. In addition, this role will also support with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Propose and implement ongoing innovations and improvements to coordination process
• Operate independently with minimal day-to-day guidance from management
• Schedule and track candidates throughout hiring process in our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
• Greet candidates and provide company tours (when back to office)
• Partner with recruiters and business leaders to ensure a premium candidate experience
• Heavy calendar management including scheduling phone, virtual onsite and onsite interviews
• Multi-task effectively, quickly, and accurately in a fast-paced work environment
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
• Effectively communicate with candidates informing them of their interview itinerary, logistics, status, etc.

What You'll Need

• Demonstrated ability to gather information, research and troubleshoot ambiguous situations
• Must possess a high degree of integrity, professionalism, reliability and trustworthiness
• Ability to successfully support multiple partners and requests while delivering a high caliber experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook to manipulate, interpret, and format reports & presentations

• Previous experience in a similar Recruiting Coordinator, administrative, customer service, or HR role

Compensation & Benefits

Our hourly range for a Recruiting Coordinator position is $15.38 - $27.88. The specific hourly range offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
