As the Quality Assurance Lab Technician I you will provide assistance for the Quality Assurance laboratory with multiple Quality projects. You will report to the Manager Quality Assurance Manager in our Ennis, TX Plant. PPG offers excellent coverage and affordable choices for Medical, Dental, and Vision. Key Responsibilities
- Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment;
- Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested;
- Analyzing production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics and investigates quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests;
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase safety and efficiency of shop, department, or employees
- Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in maintaining the ISO9001 responsibilities;
- Maintains quality production records in a timely manner;
Qualifications
- Valid Drivers’ License;
- Demonstrated high level of computer experience;
- Demonstrated good communication skills;
- High School or GED plus Two (2) years’ Manufacturing or Lab experience
