Electronics Technician works directly for or with one or several New Product Development product/project engineers or managers building and/or testing electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products, and developing assembly processes which lead to the final product. Works with new and existing products to improve cost, manufacturability, reliability, and performance. Technician will be responsible for connecting, performing, monitoring, trouble shooting, and documenting bench, thermal, and vibration tests for MLWD type electrical components for new development, sustaining, and failure analysis.

Maintains test equipment and facilities in good working order. Ensures test operations are performed safely and equipment is calibrated and in safe working condition. Able to perform other duties, projects, or assignments within the physical constraints of the job. Support the development and test ruggedized electronics for use in Weatherford’s downhole Drilling Services systems.
