Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician Electronics
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Rosharon TX 77583
Pay rate: $23.00-$33.00/Hr. On W2
Job Summary
  • As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
  • RPS Shape Charge Manufacturing Facility Rosharon is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.
  • Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines.
  • Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
  • Installing new production equipment.
  • Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
  • Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, robotic systems, and production-related equipment.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
Experience And Education
  • Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
  • Experience with McCools Delta Controllers preferred.
  • Ability to work and communicate well with engineers, management, and all other departments verbally and electronically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Shift Schedule:
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well organized, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively; must be proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Business.
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems maintenance.
  • Proficient with common hand tools and power tools as well as usage of inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers, and meters.
  • Experience with use and control of Human Machine Interface (HMI).
  • Experience with Fanuc Robotics control software preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' technical degree (Manufacturing Technology A.A.S.) or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or robotic systems
  • The position requires that the candidate be flexible in work schedule. Position may require working nights/weekends/ flexible shifts, etc.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
  • The work schedule is subject to change (days, nights, weekend days, and weekend nights) with the occasional need to come in early or stay late. Employment Requirements:
  • Allen-Bradley RS Logix PLC programming experience required.
  • Ability to pass training certification for use of forklift and overhead cranes.
  • The position requires successful approval of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives background check and drug and alcohol screening.
