Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator supports the Masters of Science in Healthcare Management and Informatics Program (MSHMI) within the Coles College of Business. Plans and implements program initiatives. Participates in the generation of program resources, communication, design and development of operating goals, objectives, and protocols. Serves as primary point for program implementation and operational matters. Provides technical, professional and programmatic guidance, consultation, and support.
Assists the Program Directors with student advising, advertising, recruitment, onboarding, orientation, ordering texts and materials, scheduling facilities, student and faculty communications, University communications, procurement activities, certifications examination coordination, event scheduling and facilitation, employer communications, graduation planning and execution, and post-graduation alumni communications. Responsible for other activities required to administer the Information Software and Security (ISS) graduate programs.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
Required Experience
One (1) years of related work experience
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with program development and coordination
Previous experience in higher education
Proficient in Target X, Microsoft Office, ePro, OwlPay, Works, EMS, Banner, Concur, HireTouch
ABILITIES
Able to devise, develop, collect and analyze statistical information and reports
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
Ability to make administrative and/or procedural decisions and judgments
KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrated professional knowledge and operational expertise within designated area of program focus
Familiar with Banner and student registration procedures and programs
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
