Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Restorative Dentistry department within the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine ( RSDM ). Under general direction, the Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administering all activities of the post-graduate program and related projects, while serving as liaison to other departments throughout the university.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Creates and manages databases and spreadsheets for generating correspondence for current and prospective students.
  • Assists with the review and evaluation of department programs and activities and in their administration, objectives, efficiency, effectiveness, and suitability to current conditions, costs, and goals, using established procedures and standards.
  • Maintains the prosthodontic post-graduate program student’s files and database. Oversees the maintenance of the post-graduate program student records and ensures that files and recordkeeping systems meet the needs of the department.
  • Maintains and/or oversees the program calendar, including the scheduling of meetings for the department. Coordinates reservation of facilities, registration and travel arrangements for Chair/Director and PG participants, agenda and overall setup of conferences, seminars and/or workshops as it relates to the post-graduate program and in support of the department.
  • Coordinates the design, layout and content of various materials, brochures, presentations, etc. for the department program.
  • Responsible for monthly revenue audits of services for the department Chair and Director of Implant by maintaining accurate records.
  • Assists in the investigation of and development of solutions for problems areas. Identifies and works towards the elimination of unnecessary and/or wasteful administrative practices.
