Production Manager - Ecommerce

You will act as an essential bridge between the US team and our partnered manufacturers; reviewing samples, assigning purchase orders, tracking production, ensuring quality, and performing data analysis. To be successful as a Velvet Caviar production manager, you should have excellent communication, observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. You should understand the manufacturing of plastic goods, printing, development, and technical data. You’ll work directly with the product development and design team. Responsibilities:

• Manage the creation and submission of purchase orders, with the help of an inventory controller.
• Establish and maintain strict quality control standards for all Velvet Caviar products
• Track shipments and work with our warehouses to ensure all products arrive on time
• Perform other duties related to the role
• Act as the main point of contact with overseas factories for all sample creations, purchase order submissions, production deadlines, and quality control checks
• Monitor existing inventory levels, create monthly restock formulations, and deploy strategies for depleting overstock inventory
• Work with the product team on creating upcoming seasonal collections of new styles and products line innovations.
• Create reports for product review and customer analysis for future product improvements
• Source and screen new factories or vendors for new projects, an infrequent task.
• Understand Velvet Caviar’s product line, production processes, and inventory management

Requirements:

• Skilled with creating purchase orders and enforcing quality control
• Skilled with forecasting inventory restocks and depleting overstock items
• Experience in plastic molded products or tech accessories is helpful
• Comfortable with mixed work hours, occasional evenings
• Experience working with foreign factories, mostly from China is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Experience managing the entire production process from PO to delivery
• 4+ years of proven Ecommerce experience in Production or Supply Chain
