Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000

Overview

This client is one of the world’s largest providers of measurement and inspection solutions, including CMMs, sensors, vision form and finish machines, precision tools and instruments.

In this role you will promote and increase sales of company products and software through collaboration with internal Sales, Marketing, and Technical Support departments. This role will give you an opportunity to drive product awareness around innovative solutions to meet metrological challenges across countless industries.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Technical Support Department special product quotation requests, retrofits, upgrades, and technical requests from sales and support staff
• Manage, review, and prepare Sharepoint, catalog, and literature content
• Become a subject matter expert on related product group through continuous self- research and training
• Complete questionnaires on behalf of company for related product group
• Work with Technical Support Department to receive new product information and plan and manage new product introductions and strategies
• Build a competitive library for related product group in collaboration with Technical Support Department
• Manage company market share reporting for related product group
• Work with company Marketing to produce digital and promotional marketing material
• Work with Technical Support Department to train sales and support staff on related product groups
• Create and manage quote templates and product/accessory packages in QuoteWerks
• Work with VP of Product Management to develop goals, objectives, and both annual and long-term business plans for their related product group
• Develop industry specific customer targets and campaigns for related product groups
• Monitor related product promotions and provide promotion success reports to Sales and Marketing teams
• Work with Sales management to determine price and product strategies
• Plan and manage trade show and company showroom product and part applications
• Develop and manage a product price book for related product group and develop internal and external OEM partner strategies
• Monitor monthly sales performance for related product groups and work with sales management on strategies to correct performance that is below quota targets

Qualifications:

• Experience with new product launches and product management in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Previous experience/knowledge of precision measuring equipment, CMM equipment, sensors, optics or similar metrology technology
• Ability to travel up to 25% (client sites, industry conventions/expositions and other sales and marketing events where brand presence is required)
• 5+ years project management experience
• BS degree in Engineering field
