• Follow and manage to regulations, UBS compliance policies, desk policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Work closely with UBS Wealth Management Financial Advisors and Structured Solutions Consultant and Sales specialists, and collaborate with structuring teams, derivatives traders, and internal control and operational functions to develop, originate and market structured investment strategies for UBS Wealth Management's Ultra, High Net Worth and institutional clients.
• Develop the Firm's monthly structured product catalog based on the UBS CIO and IB Research, advise and support the group’s Distribution teams on developing tailored transactions, review offering documents, create marketing materials and work on educational initiatives.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Product Development and Origination team within UBS Global Markets Structured Solutions group focused on the Global Wealth Management Americas distribution channel, and will be based in UBS US headquarters, New York City. You will provide support for the development of structured investment strategies (notes, CDs, warrants, UITs, etc.) designed for broad distribution, tailored transactions for Global Wealth Management's U/HNW and institutional clients. To accomplish this, you will collaborate with senior product developers on the team and with internal and Third Party Bank structuring / sales / traders, internal control functions and operations groups, UBS CIO / IB Research, SP Distribution teams and Financial Advisors. You will engage with SP practitioner financial advisors to support client reverse inquiries and present the capabilities of UBS’s platform for tailored solution opportunities.

Your expertise

• Series 7, 66 and 79 (within 90 days of hire)
• Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team structure
• A degree from a highly accredited university with a degree in business administration, management, finance, economics or engineering
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and organizational skills
• Adept in Microsoft Office and developing/using pricing models from related tools or applications
• Able to develop and maintain strong consultative sales relationships
• Able to set priorities pay attention to details and manage deadlines
• 2 to 5 years' experience in a Structured Products, Derivatives function, with a strong working knowledge of equity or Rates/Commodities/Credit derivatives
• Confident in understanding the markets and discussing a broad spectrum of complex products and applicable risks

Salary Information

CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
