Role: Product Development Engineer

Based: Boston area, MA (On Site)

Salary: $dep on exp plus benefits and relocation assistance

Client

Our client is a well-established, growing battery business, who are transforming the lithium-ion cell manufacturing process and platforms for electric mobility, aerospace, and stationary power.

Due to considerable growth and new exciting projects, they require a Product Development Engineer to evaluate new battery materials by leading materials characterization and test method development

Responsibilities

• Conduct work to understand and document failure modes of batteries and materials.
• Develop and execute materials evaluation test.
• Develop new test methods and equipment.
• Analyze and report test results and cell data.

Requirements

The successful candidate with have at least 1 year post degree (MS/BSc)commercial experience within industrial batteries/R&D and have the track record of designing experiments to give the results required.

Additionally, should be able to understand lithium-ion chemistry and battery components and be able to multi tasks in a fast-paced environment.
