Senior Quality Engineer – Product Development Jobs

· 7+ years’ experience in a Product Development Engineering role

· Paper Industry Experience is a MUST HAVE!

· Knowledge of PULP and PAPER a BIG PLUS

· Experience with Physical and Analytical property testing, Six Sigma and Lean Principals

· Establish and maintain strong, productive relationships and collaborations across internal, external, and partner organizations.

Industry experience with high pressure die cast components and strong knowledge of casting design and best practices

Industry experience with aluminum machining with a strong knowledge of machining best practices and GD&T

Lead Ford internal and external supplier CPMT (Component Product Management Team) for your components

Manage prototype and production build delivery and quality

Working knowledge of casting simulation tools (Magma)

Working knowledge of CAD and CAE (Catia)

Should have experience working with hose products, or with similar products.

Will develop hose assemblies which meet performance specifications.

Will work in design, sample builds, and testing.

Work on specification of capital equipment needed to make products.

Investigate customer issues and provide technical service at the engineering level.

Work on continuous improvement projects to lower costs, improve manufacturing throughput, improve quality, increase customer satisfaction.

• Lead new raw material qualifications in a timely fashion.

• A minimum of 5 years of Technical/Product Development experience in a related industry.

• Knowledge of paper, films, release liners and converting processes.

• Hands-on experience with a variety of coating and converting process equipment.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with product development

Experience in fabrication and 3D solid modeling required, Inventor experience a plus

Experience with structural, fluid, pneumatic or electrical system design a plus

Demonstrated Investment Casting manufacturing knowledge and experience is advantageous to the role.

Role is responsible for supplier processes, from initial qualification, maintenance, and necessary improvement driven by business quality needs.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in Engineering, Materials Science or Quality related roles.

Demonstrated experience in manufacturing or supplier quality.

Demonstrated history of problem solving, root cause and corrective action methodology, data analysis, statistical analysis and quality experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Product Management, and Operations to ensure high-quality software releases.

Lead and manage the Product Quality/Engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Proven experience (8+ years) in leading QA Engineering teams, with a focus on automation, data, and APIs.

Extensive hands-on experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, etc.

Strong knowledge of data testing methodologies, including data validation, ETL testing, data integrity checks, and data quality assurance.

Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and query languages for data testing.
