Job Description

Colorescience is looking for a full-time Procurement Operations Project Manager to support our Operations department. In this role, you will oversee the lifecycle management from NPI, BOM creation, to change control (artwork, formulation, packaging changes) and serve as a liaison between Marketing and Operations on sampling efforts using foils and testers. Support supply chain process improvement.


Colorescience is looking for a full-time Procurement Operations Project Manager to support our Operations department. In this role, you will oversee the lifecycle management from NPI, BOM creation, to change control (artwork, formulation, packaging changes) and serve as a liaison between Marketing and Operations on sampling efforts using foils and testers.Support supply chain process improvement.

Primary Responsibilities


Project Management

1) New Product Development - New SKU launches

  • Create and manage project plans using Wrike software.
  • Primary interface with internal stakeholders assuring accountability on task management.
  • Accountable for leading the new product hand-off from R&D to operations including scheduling and running regular meeting & assembling the team.
  • Responsible for all communication to Leadership on timeline management.


2) Sampling Fulfillment

  • Interface with 3PL regarding planned order volumes.
  • Responsible for facilitating an annual foil demand plan with Marketing channel leads and monitoring ongoing usage.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory levels on testers - all transactions including assembly instructions, order entry in 3PL management system and inventory transactions in ERP.
  • Oversight for GWP selection with Marketing channel leads.
  • Responsible for communication to Operations team regarding marketing campaigns and demand needs.


3) Change Management (Existing Product changes))

  • Interface with cross functional team - R&D, Quality, Marketing, Operations to lead effective implementation of change
  • Coordinate with the Director of Supply Chain, Operations Planner, and Expeditor to determine and manage inventory needs.
  • Create and oversee project plans in Wrike software
  • Responsible for initiating a new project kick off - change control and assembling a team


BOM - Bill of Material

  • Creation of a new bill of materials in the ERP system.
  • Interface and resolution management for revision changes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversight of accuracy of all product bills of materials (scrap rate, component codes, and revision control) in ERP.


Communication

  • Good decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive decision-making, new processes, collaboration, and visibility.
  • Clear and timely communication to Operations team on key business insights and trends that would affect inventory position.
