Job Description

NVIDIA Infrastructure Planning and Process (IPP) team is looking for a forward-thinking, focused, and analytical Procurement Manager to join the purchasing team! NVIDIA IPP team is a growing team with roughly 30,000 servers. We offer 24x7 service to NVIDIAns to build and test. Our solutions/services run in internal data centers and provide bring-up testing as well as regression testing and handle the entire gamut of NVIDIA products. The scale of purchases is roughly $50 Million a year and roughly 40-50 different standards.
What you'll be doing:
  • Lead strategic agreements and business relationships with OEMs/VARs to discuss product roadmaps focussed on mutual interest.
  • Strive for cost saving
  • Lead BOM and product transitions
  • Responsibility of procurement for the team
  • Multiple collaborations with NVIDIA's internal teams (Platform, Configuration Standardization, Operations, Finance, Buyers)
  • Price negotiations with multiple OEMs for competitive bidding
What we need to see:
  • Excellent Multi-tasking skills
  • Independent & capable to lead tasks from beginning to closure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Performs well in an intensive and dynamic environment
  • Languages: English - preferred: Excellent writing and communication skills
  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Service oriented
  • Goals oriented – meet goals and due dates
  • 3+ years of shown experience in Purchasing/Planning/Project management

The base salary range is $92,000 - $184,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
