The Senior Manager, Procurement is responsible for soliciting, evaluating, drafting, and awarding contracts for Levi’s Stadium, including consulting/professional services, construction, equipment, supplies and other products and services to meet the needs of the facility. Responsible for drafting and presenting legislative reports related to the acquisitions to executives and the board. Be a champion of change for digital transformation and help our Procurement team move up the value chain and become trusted advisors to clients. Drive continuous improvement and increase our process efficiency and effectiveness for optimum customer experience, reduced cycle time, compliance, and cost savings. Manage and monitor supplier relationships across multiple business units. Ensure principles and approaches to management, oversight and governance of suppliers is aligned with business objectives. Maximize efficiencies and ensure spend visibility and control, cost avoidance, and value creation while building and maintaining positive, long-term strategic customer and supplier partnerships.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Reviews documents and analyzes requests for non-competitive solicitations.
- Acts as a lead and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on business processes and collaborates with all-levels internally/externally including executives, peers, and suppliers.
- Solicits bids and proposals including leading complex contract negotiations involving teams comprised of technical, legal, and finance participants.
- Recommends contract awards.
- Collaborates with Coupa user groups to learn about evolution in technology, user adoption and challenges to effectively manage and implement change.
- Assesses acquisition and contract requirements to determine the most appropriate methods of solicitation, such as Request for Proposals, Invitation to Bids, Request for Quotations, and Request for Information.
- Develops and implements training programs for clients concerning procurement planning and contract administration.
- Collaborates with IT teams to oversee support of inbound and outbound Coupa interfaces.
- Works closely with legal, stadium operations, and other functional areas of the organization,
- Performs contract portfolio management, strategic procurement planning, solicitation and evaluation of bids and proposals using automated procurement systems.
- Assists clients with resolving contract management issues.
- Drafts agreements, purchase orders, and contract modifications.
- Gives presentations as required on proposed and established contracting procedures.
- Ensures compliance with technical procedures and governmental regulations as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Consults and advises client departments with developing scope of work, specifications, and requirements.
- Consults with Risk Management to establish insurance requirements for projects.
- Negotiates fixed-price, cost-type, and other incentive type contracts.
- Utilizes automated source-to-pay applications to perform procurement and contracting functions.
- Advises client departments on procurement planning, solicitation, and administration of contracts and purchase orders.
- Actively participates and maintains relationships with Coupa community user groups.
- Stays abreast of changes in federal and state regulations as well as best practices as they relate to the field of purchasing and procurement.
- Compiles, analyses, and evaluates data on procurement and contracting patterns to identify trends.
- Develops and maintains positive business relationships with key business stakeholders (internally) and suppliers (externally).
- Identifies operational problems and formulates appropriate solutions.
- Prepares a variety of written and oral reports, memorandums, and legislative files.
- Facilitates vendor outreach and conducts workshops to advise vendors and acquaint them with procurement policies and procedures as required.

Education and Experience:
- Familiar with Uniform Commercial Code rules and regulations and Contract law as it relates to the procurement of goods and services.
- Experience researching various commodity markets including trends affecting the supply chain,
- Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree and at least 5-7 years of experience in procurement and contract management; including two years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with Coupa Source-to-Pay platform, SAP Ariba or other procure-to-pay software.
- Bonfire Interactive or similar bid management systems, DocuSign.
- Experience analyzing current market conditions, cost on various goods and services, and sources of supplies and services.
- Certification as a Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of contracting and procurement procedures, including both the private and public sectors.

Compensation: $122,000-152,000 annually DOE
