Procurement Operations Project Manager Jobs

Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing management.

Proven leadership in purchasing management in a manufacturing environment

Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is preferred

Responsible for the Procurement and Storeroom functions primarily at Arconic Tennessee Operations, Alcoa, TN

Structure, staff, lead and develop the procurement operations team at Arconic Tennessee Operations to meet business needs and deliver procurement objectives.

Reports to the Director of Procurement Operations, Global Rolled Products (GRP) & Arconic Extrusions (AEX) divisions.

Bachelor’s degreein business, economics, technology, finance, engineering, or supply chain management

Drive Procurement branding both internally and externally, including development and management of the Procurement website

Collaborate with Flagship end-users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for goods and services

Develop performance analytics and reports for the procurement function as well as supplier key offerings and KPI’s

Collect and manage procurement activity metrics across the Flagship ecosystem of companies

Organize workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate internal stakeholders about procurement processes, best practices, and benefits

Solid cost analysis and Project Management experience

Profound background international contract management

Internal stakeholder /supplier relationship management

Very good analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills

To provide large project, purchasing and logistics coordination supporting the Project Manager.

Develop and maintain the purchasing Plan with the help of the project manager and Purchasing Team Leader.

Project management experience leading/managing cross-functional teams.

Must have experience working in at least two functional areas (e.g., R&D, Supply Chain, Project Management, Procurement, Marketing, etc.)

Able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities independently; strong negotiation and communication skills

Develop, manage up-to-date Timelines inclusive of the critical milestones, key interdependencies and resource constraints, applying appropriate project scheduling techniques.

At least 5+ years of professional experience; prefer 2+ years in FMCG, CPG or OTC healthcare;

Experience interacting with senior leadership required

Primary interface with internal stakeholders assuring accountability on task management.

Responsible for all communication to Leadership on timeline management.

Interface and resolution management for revision changes to internal and external stakeholders.

3) Change Management (Existing Product changes))

Create and manage project plans using Wrike software.

Coordinate with the Director of Supply Chain, Operations Planner, and Expeditor to determine and manage inventory needs.
