Procurement Manager - TalentZok

Immediate opening for a Procurement Manager in Irvine, CA who possesses:

  • 2+ years' experience in manufacturing/electronic industry
  • Experienced with NetSuite/Oracle
  • 2+ years' experience sourcing/purchasing electronics

FULL DESCRIPTION: As the Procurement Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing function of our organization. This includes identifying new suppliers to support market trends and demand, managing a team of buyers, and streamlining procurement processes with our product and sales management teams. They will also be responsible for maintaining awareness of market trends, industry news, competitor activities, and innovative ideas for discovering sales opportunities.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure the best possible pricing, quality, and delivery
  • Streamline sourcing processes with the product and sales management teams
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, industry news, competitor activities, and innovative ideas for discovering sales opportunities
  • Coordinate and manage a team of electronic component buyers

The selected candidate will also possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of success in procurement management and sourcing strategies
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities to develop and report on KPIs
  • Other duties related to the job function
  • A degree from a four-year college or university is preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing for the Military, Aerospace, or Defense industries.

Salary: $70k-$90k/yr
