Remote Procurement Services Project Specialist

· Manage technical interfaces between supplier projects and interfacing projects/activities.

· Proven work experience within nuclear or renewable energy

· Demonstrated skills in the technical direction of suppliers and in supporting contractual/commercial aspects of customer/supplier relationships.

· Previous experience in technical interface with engineering groups for review and input to supplier activities.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Monitor project schedules regarding submittals, approvals, and shop fabrication releases. Identify and communicate possible delays or problems to project management team

Provide technical instructions and guidance to steel detailers in preparing shop drawings per project requirements and standards

Serve as a direct link between Project Managers, Estimators, and the Detailers

Knowledge of contract drawings and trade specific drawings

3+ years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Engineer

Project management experience leading/managing cross-functional teams.

Must have experience working in at least two functional areas (e.g., R&D, Supply Chain, Project Management, Procurement, Marketing, etc.)

Able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities independently; strong negotiation and communication skills

Develop, manage up-to-date Timelines inclusive of the critical milestones, key interdependencies and resource constraints, applying appropriate project scheduling techniques.

At least 5+ years of professional experience; prefer 2+ years in FMCG, CPG or OTC healthcare;

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Large Capital project experience required (>$50MM).

2+ years of corporate or construction project management experience.

Flexibility // Understands, promotes, and fosters acceptance of changes to projects and internal change management.

Project Management Certificate is a plus!

Manage supplier relations and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.

Review client proposals for fine details, place product orders, and manage invoicing.

Manage expense reporting by closing out monthly, quarterly, and year-end expenses.

Manage or a ttend vendor bid presentations or coordination for vendor equipment trials

Coordinate any changes of purchased versus planned equipment items with project manager, architect and engineer for medical, electrical and plumbing issues

Control or assist the Project Manager in reporting client budgets and flagging issues to the internal project team

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in the healthcare environment with a focus on Procurement

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills and ability to collect, organize and analyze data with strong attention to detail
