The Role

OWL Services has an immediate opening for a Procurement Leader to drive the strategy and growth of the purchasing team.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who is looking for the opportunity to build and influence strategy, the flexibility to be agile in a fast-paced environment and the interest in growing within an organization. This is a remote role.

The Procurement Leader will oversee vendor relations, negotiate contracts, deliver purchasing strategy, and work with sales teams to make projections for needs.

Responsibilities

· Owns vendor relationships

· Negotiates contracts, rebates, discounts, etc.

· Leads and serves as a point of escalation for junior purchasing staff

· Creates, delivers, and manages purchasing strategy

· Works with sales to create projections related to upcoming needs

· Reports and manages inventory KPIs

Requirements and Skills

· 5-10 years in a purchasing role

· Ability to drive organizational change as it relates to purchasing strategy

· Experience and/or ability to lead a team that is geographically dispersed

· Experience purchasing single-source and distributed equipment

· Able to support a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization
