Presentation Designer Jobs

Havas Media North America, a global media and marketing agency is seeking a Presentation Designer that lives and breathes design. You will work with the Growth and New Business teams as well as various agency leaders and departments to create, edit and deliver dynamic presentation decks, RFPs and marketing materials that align with the Havas Media brand. The ideal candidate can work both independently and collaborate with a dedicated team and is responsible for taking a project from initial concept to final production. The designer will also brief and oversee the production materials with Havas’ in-house production team and at times outside production vendors.

The department is growing and we are looking to improve the way we present to potential and existing clients by including more dynamic media into our presentations and overall pitch experience. In addition to the duties listed above, the ideal candidate will be skilled in motion graphics, video editing, and animation.

The Design Team is a fast paced, close-knit team that handles a large volume of challenging work in short periods of time. As a member of the team, the Designer will have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented individuals in the agency and the senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Motion graphics/video editing and animation
• Support the marketing team; concept and create cross-platform marketing materials, including print ads, event and sponsorship signage, corporate collateral, etc.
• Must be detail and results oriented and capable of handling multiple projects at once
• Owning/upholding/creating/executing the Havas Media look and feel
• Experience working on strategic cross-platform campaigns
• Stay Creatively Fresh: actively seek and share digital inspiration (creative, technology, general digital trends) with their team and agency
• Create PowerPoint/Keynote presentations as well as adapt content for existing templates in a fast-paced environment
• Behave with professionalism and maintain a respectful and positive attitude while working in a high pace, high pressure, and high demand environment
• Ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines
• Work closely with the pitch leads to ensure all content is visually stellar from the initial concept phase through final production
• Must take complex stories and abstract concepts and interpret in order to visually communicate them effectively, memorably and accurately
• Occasional domestic travel may be required

Qualifications and Experience:

• Demonstrate outstanding creative conceptual and design/presentation skills through a portfolio that is clean and visually strong
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications
• Creating, updating and editing presentation decks for new business opportunities
• 2–4 years’ experience at an advertising agency or 5 years at a design studio, new business strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere
• Hybrid designer: print and digital
• Experience in designing and publishing lightweight websites and social media pages on platforms like Word Press, Square
• Expert knowledge of Powerpoint and Keynote is a must
• Degree in Design/Advertising ideal or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Sketch, Figma or Adobe XD a plus
