Communications Specialist & Presentation Designer

What you will do:

Reporting to the Director, Communications for Collaboration, you will be responsible for creating compelling communications primarily in PowerPoint for the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Collaboration and the Collab Ops team. Your exceptional design skills and creativity will play a pivotal role in crafting visually stunning presentations that effectively communicate key messages to our target audiences. You will also help support Collaboration’s internal employee-facing communications by recommending fresh, compelling designs that engage our employees.

You are a self-starter with storytelling skills, a passion for information design, and some experience under your belt. You are comfortable owning and running with initiatives and demonstrate a willingness to learn. You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization, and are willing to step up to learn new tools and offer new ideas to the team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Own creative design for internal organizational SharePoint sites and ensure information is relevant, easy to understand, and regularly updated.
• Ensure all brand guidelines are followed.
• Design and create visually engaging and impactful executive presentations using PowerPoint, ensuring the highest quality standards in terms of design, layout, and content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within given deadlines.
• Utilize your expertise in typography, color theory, layout design, and information visualization to create visually appealing and easy-to-understand slides.
• Provide graphic support for internal, employee-facing communications to include emails, banners, infographics, flyers, and other pieces as needed.
• Conceptualize and execute visual elements, graphics, and infographics to enhance presentation content and convey complex ideas clearly.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Proven expertise in PowerPoint presentations and design, with a portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and other design tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• 2+ years’ experience working in a presentation or graphics design role.
• Ability to work PST hours as needed
