Presentation Specialist Jobs

An asset management firm focused on delivering growth equity investment solutions is looking for PowerPoint Specialist.

Location: NY

Compensation: $80k-90k base pay, discretionary bonus, and competitive benefits including 401k plan.

The PowerPoint Specialist is a critical contributor to inline business and existing clients as well as new business and internal communications development. The role requires ensuring that all presentations effectively communicate information to external audiences in the most dynamic way possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Format and update PowerPoint documents on a quarterly basis, focusing heavily on data updates.

Work within PowerPoint, Excel, our internal database, and various teams to retrieve backup information for quarterly presentation updates.

Ensure all materials produced are consistently using our branding style, format, and color scheme.

Develop data visualization, charts, info graphics, illustrations, and iconography to support key messages.

Manage PowerPoint presentations and production schedule to meet the needs of Sales, Marketing, and Portfolio Managers.

Effectively project manage each presentation to ensure compliance standards and deadlines are met.

Maintain and ensure all marketing materials receive proper approvals before distribution.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Portfolio Managers to identify presentation goals and objectives.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, emphasis in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.

3 years or above of relevant work experience in a corporate financial institution

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office suites (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) is a must. Adobe suites (InDesign,

Photoshop, and Illustrator) is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.

Solid project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and cope with pressure.

Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as part of a team.

Ability to assess work and make decisions from a technical point of view and prioritize requests efficiently.

Readiness to follow processes, policies, and procedures.

Flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn new skills and share knowledge with the team.
