Job Description

Our client, a midtown-based Hedge Fund is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a Partner with his day-to-day scheduling and assist with personal/business matters. This is a great opportunity for a hardworking candidate with great organizational skills to be part of a growing office!


Job Overview:

COMPANY: Hedge Fund

ROLE: Personal Assistant

LOCATION: Midtown and occasional work from executive's home

HOURS: 9:00am-6:00pm

SALARY: 75-100K DOE + Bonus Eligible + Great Benefits!

DEGREE: Highly Preferred


Responsibilities:

  • Provide ad hoc and project-based support
  • Manage calendar and schedule meetings/doctor’s appointments as requested
  • Monitor Partner’s home renovation process ( Managing relationships with vendors and building management)
  • Answer and re-direct incoming phone calls and take detailed messages
  • Arrange Taxi/Limo reservations
  • Aid in personal travel planning, reservations, and hotel accommodations
  • Purchasing and facilitating corporate and personal gift giving


Requirements:

  • Prior administrative/personal assistant experience preferred(2-4+ years of experience)
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to clients and employees of the firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Willingness to work on certain holidays
  • Successful candidate will be a self-starter, independent worker who is comfortable working with minimum direction
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
