Job Description
Role: People & Culture Enablement Assistant
Scope: Individual Contributor
Years of Experience: 3+
Reports to: People & Culture Chief of Staff
Location: Ventura, CA

As the P+C Enablement Assistant, you will report directly to the People & Culture Chief of Staff and provide direct support to the Chief People & Culture Officer. In your role, you will help coordinate, manage, and organize workflow in a manner that is efficient, effective, and oriented toward operational excellence. You will be responsible for performing administrative, operational, and project coordination support of a responsible and confidential nature. As the P+C Enablement Assistant, you bring a high level of organization, proactivity, confidentiality, efficiency, and initiative and have demonstrated experience juggling competing tasks and priorities. You have a no-job-too-small mentality and understand how mastery of the details contributes to the greater enablement of the People & Culture department.
What You’ll Do
  • Manage senior executives’ travel logistics and activities, including accommodations, transportation, and meals.
  • Liaise with other departments and external stakeholders on behalf of the Chief of Staff and Chief People & Culture Officer.
  • Support the P+C Chief of Staff in maintaining overall People & Culture operational excellence and departmental enablement.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming communication, including emails and calendar invitations.
  • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials.
  • Scheduling executive's appointments, maintaining and updating daily calendar. Organizing and coordinating meetings, including preparation and distribution of any materials, agendas, and notes, handouts.
  • Active listening - the ability to do notetaking during confidential meetings, synthesize outcomes and distribute to teams.
  • Support the Chief People & Culture Officer by managing administrative responsibilities with outstanding attention to detail & follow-up, including but not limited to:
  • Preparing, and submitting expense reports.
  • Support the coordination and management of special projects and events, such as planning for large team meetings and all-staffs.

Experience You Bring
  • Expert knowledge of Mac and PC, MS Office Suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Proven excellence in producing high quality tools, such as presentations, graphics, reports, and communications.
  • 3+ years of experience in a comparable role as a program coordinator/assistant, executive assistant, administrative assistant, or operations assistant.
  • Must be a talented problem solver, solution oriented and highly resourceful.
  • Able to work independently on projects, anticipate/address issues while using good judgment.
  • Exceptional verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Maintains professional confidentiality of sensitive legal, company, or employee communications and information.
  • Willingness and ability to navigate ambiguity, adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities, and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; reliable and competent at prioritizing and adjusting timetables based on demand and circumstances.
  • Proven ability in assembling, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing data and information.
  • High level of attention to detail/organization.
  • Exceptional scheduling skills with a focus on driving deadlines.
Hiring Range: $70,000 to $80,000
Pay Range: $68,000 to 102,000
At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.
