Job Details
- Adjusts and deductions for each employee and manage payroll-related benefits, vacations and sick days.
- Participate in problem solving and special projects within the HR/Payroll Department.
- Data entry garnishment payments, tax levies or other court ordered withholdings
- Communicate and interact with all levels of management.
- Employee coding and data entry utilizing HRIS Paycom
- Assist in Auditing of preview payroll reports prior to transmission. Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentially.
- Assist in internal/external payroll Audits
- Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, tiime worked, paid leave and holidays, deduction
- Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests
- Goes over time sheets and paperwork to make sure the information is correct and consistent with actual hours worked by employees
- Create and run reports as needed
- Assist Accounting in reconciliation of all Payroll related items.
- Manages expenses and reimbursements.
- Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers and team.
- Adhere to local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Demonstrate high level of quality of work, attendance, and appearance.
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures and Safety Regulations.
- Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
- Additional responsibilities assigned by director related to your position/department.
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
- Data Entry Skills
- Experience with Paycom Payroll System
- Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office and proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- 2 - 4 years of multi-state payroll experience in a corporate environment; comfortable processing payroll for 500+ employees.
