POSITION SUMMARY

The Patient Support Representative is the first point of contact for new patients that need to schedule appointments and acts as a liaison for existing patients. The PSR must provide excellent customer service by using empathy, active listening, and communication skills to accommodate our patient’s needs. This is a fast paced position, the requires attention to detail and being able to handle large call volumes. You must be able to navigate multiple, preferences, screens, and systems at a time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

CREDENTIALS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITES:

• Must be able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must maintain HIPAA compliance when accessing Personal Health Information (PHI).
• 1 year of experience working with patients in either a hospital or office setting (preferred, but not required).
• 1 year of customer service experience is required
• Must be able to perform physical duties when necessary.
• 1 year of call center experience is required.
• Must be able to obtain patient information and accurately enter in patient database(s).
• Must be able to work in office full-time
• Nextgen experience is highly preferred, but not required.
