Patient Coordinator Jobs

Northwoods Dental Group is looking for a patient coordinator. We are a family oriented, general practice located on the north side of Columbus, between Lewis Center and Worthington. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and detailed oriented individual to add to our team.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Entering treatment plans into Open Dental and presenting plans to patients
• Collecting amounts due
• Direct interaction with the dental patients
• Making financial arrangements
• Opening and closing, reporting and preparing deposits
• Scheduling
• Confirming
• Estimating copays
• Maintaining a productive, ideal schedule
• Obtaining dental insurance information
• Using Open Dental Software

Dental experience preferred, but not required and we are willing to train the right candidate. This position would be a great position for a clinical chairside assistant looking to expand their knowledge to the front office/administrative side of dentistry.

Patient hours are Monday-Thursday 8a-5p and Friday 8a-12p. We arrive 30 minutes before the first patient and generally try to leave 15 minutes after the last patient leaves. We allow 1 hour lunch and two 10 minute breaks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
