As a technology sales professional, you will play a vital role in driving our revenue growth by effectively promoting and selling our cutting-edge technology solutions to prospective clients. This is a commission-only position, offering unlimited earning potential for motivated and results-driven individuals.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate leads: Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research to identify potential clients interested in our technology solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations: Clearly and effectively present the features and benefits of our products to potential customers, demonstrating how they can address their specific business needs and challenges.
- Consultative selling: Understand the unique requirements and pain points of each customer and recommend tailored technology solutions that align with their business goals.
- Manage the sales process: From initial contact to closing the deal, maintain a sales pipeline, track leads, follow up on proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and ultimately close sales.
- Build and maintain client relationships: Foster long-term partnerships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously update your knowledge of the latest technology trends and advancements to effectively position our products and differentiate them from competitors in the market.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to provide valuable insights from customer interactions and contribute to the development of effective sales strategies and product enhancements.
- Achieve sales targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the company.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in technology sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Tech-savviness: A keen interest in and understanding of various technology products and solutions, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Results-oriented: Demonstrated ability to work independently, set ambitious goals, and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Relationship-building skills: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and positioning our solutions as the ideal fit.
- Self-motivation and resilience: Driven to succeed in a commission-only role, with the ability to overcome objections, handle rejection, and persevere in a competitive sales environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities and strategies.
- Technical degree or background: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science or information technology, is preferred but not mandatory.
