Packaging Designer (Alcohol Beverage)

Our well-known, fun and exciting Alcohol Beverage client is seeking an Alcohol Beverage Packaging Designer to join their small internal packaging team on a freelance to possible fulltime basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across an incredible line of innovative alcohol beverage brands, you will create outstanding original design concepts for wine, beer & spirits. In this role you will work directly with the producers and have direct access to decision makers.

Packaging Designer Capabilities:

• Must have experience designing packaging for wine, spirits, and RTD beverages
• At least 5 years of experience in an agency or creative in-house
• Must have Alcohol Beverage Packaging experience
• Ability to understand master brands and design packaging extensions and sub-brands
• Adobe Creative Suite Programs specifically Illustrator and Photoshop

Packaging Designer Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual sketches, visual mock-ups, and storyboards to communicate design ideas
• Develop impactful creative packaging that adheres to brand standards
• Support the innovation team; come up with new ideas for brands, naming, logos, packaging, new product development
• Create outstanding original packaging design concepts for wine, beer & spirits
• Taking a brief, Creating 'best in class' concepts, presenting work to the marketing and brand teams
• Extending current brands
