Summary

:

Operations Associate

Person in this role will leverage their business acumen and love of data to provide business insights that are relevant and digestible to key decision makers at HPE. This role will be a key member of Cloud Financial Ops Division at HPE. The role requires both high technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities, motivation, and exceptional attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities

• Build best practices into ongoing interactions with functional partners like Finance, Product PLM, Procurement
• Deliver and optimize monthly Business Operations reporting, including workforce planning, budget and key business activities summaries
• Build and own monthly and periodic collateral for presentation to leadership team
• Understand usage of Services by teams and product and build operational process for cross charge
• Support and optimize management of external workforce relationships in partnership with Sourcing and Operations teams
• Project management support to streamline vendor management and related processes.
• Participate in testing of our internal cloud cost platform
• Assist in preparing unit economics of the budget for presentation to leadership team
• Assist in buying and managing Savings Plans, RIs and other long term commitments with Cloud Providers.

Experience And Skills

• Strong orientation to collaboration and partnership with peers and partners across the organization
• Is able to create succinct but targeted reports in powerpoint
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail-oriented work
• Ability to articulate and manage KPIs using metrics to drive performance and provide data in support of key decisions
• Understanding of software principles as it relates to software testing
• A get things done attitude with the ability to pursue work independently and manage high quality results with little oversight.
• High excel / spreadsheet usage skills; Should be able to build models in excel
• Excitement for working in a fast-paced environment with high level of ambiguity and change
• 2-4 years experience in operations and finance in a fast-moving environment
• Strong desire for continuous improvement as well as a personal, lifelong learner mentality
• Basic to medium level understanding of financial concepts – gross margin, net income etc.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $56,900.00 - $130,600.00
