Job Description

Worthy is the world’s first consumer-to-business (C2B) marketplace for selling pre-owned valuables at true worth. We disrupt a traditional industry through technology by bringing together supply-side consumers and demand-side wholesalers to facilitate frictionless trading at fair value via auction.


Worthy humans work out of 2 offices - NYC, Tel Aviv - and remotely across the United States. As our Operations Coordinator, you will be working with our Operations and Gemology Team out of our NYC lab and office 5 days per week. You will be responsible for operational tasks in our jewelry and auction processes. This role will require exemplary attention to detail, efficient use of technology platforms and equipment, care when handling jewelry items, and effective communication with your teammates.


What You’ll Do

  • Proactively manage inventory items as they go through each step of processing (i.e. photography, videography, cleaning) and ensure inventory makes its way correctly to those appropriate teams, acting as a quality assurance check
  • Work with varying internal teams and external vendors; coordinate the inventory flow between teams
  • Assisting the Inventory Specialist with items that need to be returned to sellers or coordinating items to be delivered to buyers
  • Approach all work being very meticulous and detail-oriented as you’ll be working with high value inventory
  • Manage data and inventory by entering grading certificates and other item details on the jewelry into our proprietary database
  • Take initiative and be self-sufficient of your own workflow


Who You Are

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with all teams
  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changing business needs and ability to manage multiple moving parts
  • A strong communicator with excellent verbal & written skills
  • Positive, upbeat, personable, and motivating, with a team oriented mindset
  • Passionate and adaptable, ability to work in a fast paced, startup, team environment under tight timelines and resources


What You Have

  • 5+ years of professional working experience; ideally in data entry, logistics, operations, inventory or data management
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms preferred but not required (i.e Salesforce, Hubspot)
  • Proficiency with Excel or G Suite (specifically Google Sheets) is required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Located in the New York Metropolitan area and comfortable working in our office Monday through Friday
