Job Description

We are currently seeking a customer-focused and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an Online Chat Support Representative. As an Online Chat Support Representative, you will engage with customers through online chat platforms to provide real-time assistance, resolve inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent written communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a digital environment


Responsibilities:

Engage with customers through online chat platforms to provide real-time assistance and support.

Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.

Provide detailed information about products, services, promotions, and policies.

Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns or exchanges.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide step-by-step instructions for problem resolution.

Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate teams or supervisors.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions.

Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and resolve any outstanding matters.

Collaborate with internal teams to share customer feedback, identify trends, and propose process improvements.

Stay up to date with product knowledge and company updates to effectively assist customers


Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an online chat support role.

Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Ability to type quickly and accurately while managing multiple chat conversations simultaneously.

Proficiency in using online chat software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Empathy and the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.

Attention to detail and the ability to accurately capture and document customer information.

Adaptability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge of the industry, products, or services may be required depending on the role
