Effingham Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates, a Practice Partner of Together Women’s Health (TWH), an industry leading network of medical providers in the women’s health field, is looking for a full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their clinical team. As an experienced practitioner, the LPN is accountable for providing high quality, individualized, goal directed care for all patients and their families through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.

• Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians; takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, ensures medical chart/lab test results are available and complete
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care
• Assure HIPAA and OSHA compliance
• Perform office procedures including all general administrative duties
• Uses organizational skills to effectively complete assignments in timely manner
• Consults with other specialties and disciplines as appropriate to meet all health care needs of patients
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done
• An Associate's or bachelor’s degree, or higher
• Communicates to patients and office coordinators follow-up appointments, ancillary and/or pre-operative testing and scheduling needed for patient
• Current CPR certification
• Prepare patients for and assist with examination or treatments
• Completes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, FMLA, etc.
• Phone Triage
• Cleans and stocks all patient examination rooms; cleans and prepares instruments for procedures; keeps list of needed medical supplies
• Understand and enforce standard health care regulatory requirements
• Provides education and information to patients and family members
• Counsels’ patients concerning lifestyle modifications, medication regimens, side effects, and interactions using an appropriate psychosocial communication level
• Document Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventions
• Current license to practice as an LPN
