  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, bachelors of science in nursing preferred. 2. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois. 3. Basic Life Support Certification required. PALS/NRP/ACLS/TNCC preferred and will be required in the first year. 4. Three years of pediatric or neonatal critical care required (Pediatric Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Emergency Department). Equivalent experience may be considered . 5. Demonstrates knowledge and use of nursing standards and transport protocols in the care and decision making for transfer of critically ill and injured patients. 6. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of neonatal/pediatric diagnoses and management. 7. Performs effectively in high stress situations. 8. Strong computer related skills, including the use of EPIC, Microsoft excel, word and outlook.
