About the Team
The Global Experiential & Events team is a part of our Global Marketing team. The team drives all aspects of event production, including experiential development, insights, strategy, start-to-finish execution, and tactical guidance for global and local marketing initiatives.
TikTok is in search of a North America (NA) Lead to join the Global Experiential & Events team driving experiential strategy and execution for the NA region (inclusive of the United States, Australia, and Canada). Reporting to the Head of Global Experiential & Events, the role is based in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead experiential and event team in the NA region by managing the research, identification, strategy, and start-to-finish execution of all marketing experiences throughout the region.
  • Have deep knowledge and understanding of the region’s experiential landscape and engrained in the event culture.
  • Clearly articulate TikTok brand vision from event ideation through completion internally and with third party production vendors to create best-in-class experiences that bring joy to consumers.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who will work across all divisions under TikTok to meet individual department priorities and reach company goals.
  • Lead the strategic approach and communications for talent, executive and guest relations for all marketing experiences.
  • Bring extensive relationships with event production teams and with key industry festivals, trade shows, conventions, venues, vendors, and more.
  • Clearly develop and track measurable event KPI’s and OKR’s.
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate clearly while operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create decks, presentations, budgets, run of show documents, etc.
  • 8-10+ years experience in an event specific role
  • Bachelor's degree or above from a leading institution
  • Proven history of collaborating across multiple disciplines to meet campaign event goals (marketing, b2b, creative, social, etc.)
  • Strong experience in executing a wide variety of large budget consumer experiences in the tech landscape. Large scale activations at consumer facing festivals, trade shows, and industry events are a must.
  • Experience executing events locally and abroad
  • 4+ years of people management experience, specifically leading a team

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $133000 - $242000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
