Data Analyst//Pay Rate: $45-$50/Hour On W2.

:

• Develop data marts, data structures, functions, data warehouse fact & dimension tables, views, and indexes.
• Balance multiple incoming requests in a highly demanding work environment through effective communication and adherence to the process.
• Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
• Work in either a Kanban or scrum agile development framework.
• Develop strong working partnership with client service managers and collaborate with them to satisfy customer reporting needs.
• Create and maintain views into data sets to provide visualization of data analysis.
• Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement.
• Dive deep into data to uncover trends, data quality, and data completeness.
• Provide clear, timely, and accurate communication to leadership and other key stakeholders on analysis, findings, key insights, progress, and delivery status.
• Work with various stakeholders and customers to identify reporting and data requirements for the assigned customer.
• Deliver timely reports and data extracts to customers on an ongoing basis.
• Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.
• Work closely with business analysts to ensure custom customer reporting moves to the standard reporting and data lake platforms on a long-term basis.
• Develop new reports and data extracts and perform enhancements and fix defects for existing reports and data extracts.
• Write complex SQL queries and conduct SQL performance tuning.
• Analyze data for data gaps and make recommendations for data quality improvement.

Skills:

• Proven track record of solving complex problems.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience in Tableau preferred.
• Passion for the use of data and business intelligence principles and their ability to apply those skills to solve customer reporting and data problems.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience for Data Analyst and 5 years related experience for Sr. Data Analyst.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication (written, verbal, and visual), and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle large data sets and relational databases.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technology or related field required.

• Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.
• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force.
• Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time).
• Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.

Pay Range: $45-$50.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision as well as 401K contributions.
