What You Will Do as a National Sales Manager:
The primary responsibility of the National Sales Manager is to establish strategic plans that support the designated sales targets and long-term growth of assigned accounts as well as grow revenue through the identification and development of new business opportunities. Establish control-related standards and procedures.
How You Will Make a Difference:
- Identify and acquire sources of new revenue to support the annual and long-term growth plans. This includes the development of new channels, creating new partnerships while leveraging existing programs/partnerships.
- Develop strategies to increase market share and sales revenue through growth of existing accounts as well as new accounts.
- Create presentations and present at the Sales Meetings.
- Collaborate with Product Development to provide insights to the internal organization in the development of new product lines and offerings to meet market demands.
- Develop and promote innovative growth initiatives through deep knowledge of market, strategies, new potential distribution channels, new target markets, etc.
- Manage and mentor the sales team in execution of sales strategies including development of relationships with the management of key customers.
- Analyze and communicate weekly sales updates regarding market trends, competitive landscape, externals threats, etc.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve at-once and future sales goals.
Skills for Success:
- Ability to travel 50% of the time and attend industry tradeshows
- Years of Related Professional Experience: 10+ years of Footwear industry experience, Industrial footwear experience preferred.
- Reside within 30 minutes of an international airport
- Retail operations experience
- Power BI and Salesforce
- Demonstrated strategic sales ability
- Management and leadership experience
