Position: Key Account Manager - Altra


How You Will Move the Needle:


Spearhead execution against seasonal sales plans for specific key accounts. Utilize deep insights into business and consumer to sustain and grow business while proactively addressing issues and opportunities and making appropriate recommendations to sales management. Achieve sales revenue plans while executing against key customer strategies. Create and manage the strategic account planning process, ensure complete execution and align seasonal initiatives with Go to Market (GTM) strategy. Coordinates early pre-lines with product team to gather critical information on specific market trends. Develop relationships with customer merchandising and management teams. Provide seasonal account sales forecasts through use of analytics, customer information, market trends and business insights Creates, maintains, and shares order book analysis, brand sell thru, margin and turn performance along with competitive set analysis. Collaboratively work to ensure optimal execution for the brand.

Skills for Success:


Years of Related Professional Experience: 8+ years


Educational/ Position Requirements:


  • Minimum 5+ years sales and account management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or an equivalent industry experience


Skills:


  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, procedures and other business practices, guidelines and documents
  • Exhibits professionalism, honesty, integrity, courtesy, and respect in all dealings with fellow employees, guests, vendors, or others with whom the company conducts business
  • Demonstrates respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with Vans staff, employees and others with whom the company conducts business
  • Demonstrates understanding of retail math and logistics
  • Demonstrates ability to build business partnerships
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Follows through with all tasks, assignments, and job duties in a timely manner


Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:


  • Travel required Approx. 40%-50% including air and overnight
  • Bend, lift, open and move product and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 50lbs, depending on need

Pay Range:


$90,720.00 USD - $136,080.00 USD annually


Incentive Potential:


This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
