We are looking for a mgr, project management of labor relations strategy & operations, who will lead a team of sr project managers that provide support to our teams working on projects and programs that proactively uplift the partner experience across North America. Works in partnership with the broader partner relations team and strategy & operations team to coordinate the multiple projects and timelines within our programs and in accordance with established standards and best practices. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.


As a mgr, project management, strategy & operations, labor relations, you will…


  • Lead with a growth mindset and act as a catalyst for change – sees opportunities and drives improvements.
  • Deliver business value by applying, and enabling others to apply, tools and techniques to drive cross-functional planning and collaboration on highly complex projects while directly leading partners.
  • Serve as a balanced advocate for all partners, while role modeling personal growth through self-awareness and reflection.
  • Drives alignment across multiple senior leaders and influences cross-functional teams to identify needs, define strategy, develop action plans, identify deliverables, present results, measure outcomes and provide recommendations.
  • Nimbly adapts to shifting priorities and coaches others to do the same while continuing to assess the overall health of existing projects and priorities.


We’d Love To Hear From People With


  • Experience managing medium to large complex projects.
  • General business experience in large, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience mentoring other project managers in program and project management.
  • Application of industry-based project management methodologies and tools.

The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed


If you live in the greater Seattle area, we offer a flexible workplace that allows for hybrid work. Partners can work remotely up to two days per week.
