Mass Tort Litigation Paralegal

Our busy law office is growing, and we need a legal case manager to work alongside attorneys and achieve our client’s goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal or legal assistant and is skilled in drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that our client’s goals are met. Compensation
$45,000 - $80,000 yearly DOE
Responsibilities:Create legal documents for attorney reviewAdvise attorneys with cost and time-effective recommendations to accomplish the client’s goalsOrganize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm's policiesUpdate clients and outside counsel on case status as requestedPerform legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, medical records, social security, and medical providersMust be proactive and driven to close tasks and activitiesQualifications:Experience drafting legal documents and conducting legal research is vitalPrevious case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agencyExceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are neededA 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred - High school diploma is requiredComputer proficient - specifically with case management software, word processing, and spreadsheet presentationMust be proficient with MS Office and legal case management systemsAbout Company
