Marketing, Social Media & Admin Assistant

Who is the ideal candidate: This is an entry level/first or second job position. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, know that there is no job too big or small, and be willing to understand how starting at the bottom actually holds the key to the top. This person understands and uses Linked-in, has basic graphic/design experience (Canva = experience) and is SUPER organized. Everyone on an interview says they are organized, but we are looking for the person who REALLY IS vs just says they are. You live in or around NYC and can come to the office in person 5 days a week. You are outgoing, you are social, and you can make your voice heard. You may be right out of college, but you have no problem picking up the phone and talking to a CEO like it’s no sweat. You must be tech savvy and have general working knowledge of the restaurant or food service industries. You will have an entrepreneurial spirit.

What you should know: This candidate will first and foremost receive incredible mentorship. The CMO herself built this role when she started at the company 10 years ago. She did every task you will do and will work with you to not just succeed, but do it better than she did. The current Marketing Assistant has also spent the last 3 years excelling in this position, so much so, she has been promoted – hence the job opening! She too, did every task you will do. Are you sensing a pattern? We have high expectations of this candidate because we walked in these shoes, and there is definitely room for growth.

What is the position: This is a Marketing, Social Media & Assistant Role, but really – the title should be “swiss army knife”. The role is multi-faceted. The person hired for this role will wear many hats and assist on all aspects of the business. Daily projects and responsibilities will include anything from providing marketing support, which includes but not limited to: content creation, social media management, event planning, and creative/graphic design; as well as general business/company support, which includes, but not limited to: managing the CRM, industry research, reporting, target list building, office administration duties (ordering supplies), managing mailing of gifts, calendar management and scheduling. Most importantly, we value all ideas and opinions. This candidate can come up with idea and see it to fruition.
