Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI Image Processing / Ball Tracking Modeler to join our team. As a Senior Modeler, you will be responsible for developing advanced computer vision algorithms and models to track and analyze the movement of a ball in real-time. You will play a key role in enhancing our image processing capabilities and contributing to the development of cutting-edge sports analytics solutions. This position requires a strong background in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning, along with expertise in image processing and object tracking.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced computer vision algorithms and models for real-time ball tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and data scientists, to integrate image processing models into existing systems.
- Collect and annotate large datasets for training and evaluation purposes.
- Train and fine-tune deep learning models using state-of-the-art techniques.
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in image processing and computer vision.
- Optimize and deploy models for efficient and real-time ball tracking on various hardware platforms.
- Perform rigorous testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and robustness of the developed models.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Contribute to patent filings, research papers, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 4-7 years of extensive experience in computer vision, image processing, and machine learning within small object tracking across significant space and various environments
- Strong proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of object detection, tracking, and segmentation techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and C++.
- Experience with GPU programming and optimization for efficient model execution.
- Familiarity with data annotation tools and methodologies.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying image processing models in real-world applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sports analytics or ball tracking in sports.
- Knowledge of camera calibration and geometric computer vision algorithms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed computing frameworks.
