Manufacturing Operations Lab Associate

The Opportunity

The Manufacturing Operations Associate is primarily responsible for raw material processing, characterization and preparation of materials for the Manufacturing Team. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized and capable of significant multi-tasking.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for titering by Heidelberger, ELISA, RRID, IEP and other appropriate methods
• Assist other Production Teams as needed with manufacturing of products.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management, which may not be listed above, that are necessary to accomplish our goal of improving lives by supporting scientific discovery.
• Ensure proper documentation and storage of all relevant animal and bulk records.
• Working with Manufacturing Execution Manager and Quality Control, ensure all products are tested and/or delivered within stated lead times.
• Responsible for processing raw materials
• Work with Manufacturing leadership on continuous improvement initiatives as well as better data tools and dashboards.
• Basic SAP operations – pooling, inventory input and lookups
• Cross-train with other functions within the department to maintain business continuity.

• Written and oral communication skills including articulate in the English language.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Adobe, etc.

Preferred educational and experiential background:

• Preferred experience in a scientific environment utilizing a centrifuge, pH meter, spectrophotometer and/or electrophoresis
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Scientific field preferred
