Director Of Operations - Sporting Goods Manufacturing

A growing manufacturer of sporting goods to include firearms and accessories has an immediate opening for a Director of Operations at their College Station, TX location.

This individual will be responsible for administering, managing and directing the production, supply chain, lean manufacturing/engineering, procurement, metal working, stamping, forming, CNC machining and customer service departments. The position establishes goals, objectives, operating procedures/processes, automation, product development and management systems in support of corporate business strategies and plans. The position has direct accountability and responsibility for achieving product manufacturing profitability based upon meeting or exceeding cost standards and estimates.

Role requirements include 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, 5+ years of leadership experience, and knowledge of / ability to lead Lean strategies. An engineering background is required; an MBA is preferred.
