Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Lab Supervisor to join our team located in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities (1st shift)

• Oversee the development and improvement of current analytical processes and equipment.
• Manage the Development, revision, overseeing and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
• Assist Lab Manager with departmental policies, annual budget, pricing, product development, and product improvement.
• Investigation and implementation of resolutions for Quality Incidents.
• Facilitate the development of new products with conjunction of R&D.
• Asset Management to ensure property inventory levels are maintained.
• Other duties as assigned
• Provide laboratory personnel with technical assistance and training.
• Assist Sales/customer service with quotes, technical assistance, and customer inquiries.
• Manage all Quality Control laboratories operations.

• Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office is required.
• Managerial skills dealing with technical and analytical personnel.
• Ability to motivate personnel to provide high quality products on time and in a safe environment.
• Experience in most common methods of gas production and analysis is required.
• Bachelors’ Degree in Chemistry or related science
• Minimum 5 Years’ experience in managing analytical personnel, preferably for a major specialty gas producer.
