As a Clinical Lab Supervisor you will be supporting Vitalant’s life saving mission by working with other team members and providing skilled technical oversight in the laboratory. You will get to coordinate testing of biological specimens and review testing results and quality assessment data.

Schedule: 8:00-5:30
What you will get to do:
- Participate in process improvement and budget discussions
- Ensure completion of reagent preparation, pre-qualification and quality assurance
- Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate performance of lab staff and personnel
- Conduct required competency observations and ensure complete and accurate documentation.
- Ensure adequate level of supplies and reagents are maintained
- Perform preventative maintenance, quality assurance and calibrations on equipment, identifying high complexity equipment malfunctions and troubleshooting

- Three years of clinical laboratory testing experience to include one year of transfusion or blood banking
- Bachelor’s degree
- CLIA requirements for high complexity testing
- Two years of reference lab experience
