Managing Director - Non-Profit Tech Solutions

The ideal candidate will have current/previous experience selling professional services/consulting services to Non-Profits & Associations. This Managing Director will manage one person currently focused within the NFP/Association vertical while also developing a book of business. Our client is a boutique IT Service Solutions firm located in Maryland.

This role will be remote with travel to prospects/clients nation wide. DC, NYC, and Chicago will likely be the cities requiring the most travel. Realistic travel expectations are 1 or 2 overnights a month.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thought leadership in the Non-Profit & Association industry space, including speaking engagements, webinars, panel discussions and networking events
• Lead/manage industry growth initiatives + client engagements
• Identify growth opportunities within a few existing clients
• Partner with Marketing teams in generating business opportunities
• Forecast industry client revenue
• Participate in client onboarding to ensure successful handoff internally
• Certify client engagement strategy is business focused and specific to Non Profit & Association trends and needs

Qualifications

• Non-Profit + Association industry knowledge as it relates to operations and overall business models and how technology can make an organization more efficient
• 7+ years of leadership experience within the Non-Profit & Association industry
• Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA desirable
• Experience managing a professional services / consulting practice preferred
• 4+ years of experience directly responsible for growth initiatives within the Non-Profit or Association industry tied to technology
