Manager, Synch/ Publishing Liaison

As a liaison between the creative synch team and A&R team your primary mission is foster effective collaboration and support synch initiatives that showcase company’s repertoire. What You’ll Be Doing.

• Support our synch teams globally by sourcing songs for specific music searches.
• Create a variety of music playlists and samplers
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns and creative initiatives to support the synch team’s pitching efforts.
• Work closely with writers and their representatives to develop synch campaigns with the team
• Work closely with the synch and publishing A&R teams to bolster synch efforts around our frontline and catalogue repertoire.

Must-Haves

• Knowledge of current music and music trends across media
• Prior employment in the music business, preferably with music publishing company, record label and/or management.
• Working in an international environment not required but certainly a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong follow-up and interpersonal communication skills
• Understanding of recorded/publishing rights
• Well-organized with close attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Disco, various cloud-based storage platforms.
• Thorough understanding of synch licensing, music publishing and A&R.
• Strong knowledge base of music across a broad range of genres and eras
• Understanding of basic principles of publishing deal structures and terms

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts & Sciences, Music Business or pertinent area of study is a plus

Pay Range

$63,000 – 67,000 per annum

The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits.
